“The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol often depicted by a snake forming a circle by eating its own tail. There are a few interpretations of this symbol, including infinity, unity, wholeness, or cyclicality. The Ouroboros in this pattern circles an interpretation of a thistle plant, which many cultures believe to have magickal properties. In some regions of the world, the thistle is deemed to have protective qualities as well.”

I loved making this cross stitch and especially loved seeing how it turned out! I painted the 6 inch hoop to match the colours in the stitch and Aida and thought it turned out pretty good! 👍🏼🤩

And that’s a wrap! Pride picnic in the park was so much fun! Thank you to EVERYONE that came to visit, get a hug, chat, and/or buy something! You are all awesome! If you missed out on your Pride 2026 keychain I have 3 left! This one with black, or blue and purple, or plain blue. We’re having a picnic in the park! There will be music, drag performances, community resources, delicious food trucks, a vendors market and my personal favourite, love, fun, and acceptance!
I’ll have some new cross stitches, frames, and vegan taxidermy to show you all as well!
