BLACK MIRROR

BLACK MIRROR
Where the landscape becomes reflection.
BLACK MIRROR does not seek to impose itself on the mountain. It observes it, reflects it, and almost seems to disappear into it.
The project was born from a striking image: a mirrored monolith in the heart of the Nevada desert. That image inspired an almost surreal architecture, set within a deeply natural environment.
Spread across three levels, BLACK MIRROR is entirely wrapped in reflective glass. The mirror effect, created in collaboration with Stekar, allows the façades to capture the sky, the trees, and the surrounding contours.
In the morning, soft light moves through the spaces. By late afternoon, the reflections shift and the mountain seems to draw itself directly onto the chalet.
As evening falls, BLACK MIRROR becomes more discreet, almost blending into its surroundings.
Inside, everything has been designed to multiply the viewpoints.
The open-concept living room and kitchen look out over the treetops, while the primary suite on the top level offers a spectacular view even from the bathtub.
Altogether, the panorama stretches nearly 270 degrees, from the Laurentides Wildlife Reserve all the way to the St. Lawrence River.
Each level offers a different way to inhabit the landscape, an experience that continues outdoors, in the spa, facing nature.
Here, everything invites you to contemplate and let time unfold at its own pace.
✨ Where nature brushes against the unreal.
