Mimosa Bed & Breakfast Saltspring

Doug was hospitable, quick to help, and very kind during our stay. He gave a quick but thorough walk through, starting us off well. He responded quickly to our messages, and provided ideas of activities to do. This was a beautiful and restful start to our honeymoon. – Gabrielle

This really is a gem of a place. Quiet and peaceful location, sparking clean, nice amenities. We really appreciated being able to have our dog with is for our stay. The fenced in backyard was great! We could sit on the nice spacious deck and watch her run around. Doug was great to communicate with and always responded quickly. – Kyla

Wonderful stay! My partner, our dog and I spent 3 nights at this lovely spot near Vesuvius. Doug graciously welcomed us even though we arrived quite late due to ferry delays. The place was spotless, with lovely touches like salt spring toiletries and tea/coffee/our preference of milk and cereal/porridge for the morning. The deck and fenced patio was perfect for us, and our dog, to enjoy. We spent the afternoons enjoying the scenery with a glass of wine and some nibbles out there. Doug also provided very useful tips on where we could enjoy the beach and trails with our dog. We watched a movie one night from the collection of DVDs available for us to use, though there is also AppleTV and Netflix available. Great communication, thoughtful hosts, and a peaceful setting- we look forward to coming back! – Elissa

The place is very clean and spacious and offers all the needed amenities for a weekend getaway. Doug is friendly and approachable – he was able to accommodate an early check in which was greatly appreciated! I absolutely loved the patio and view of the meadow. Was the perfect place to relax in the evening. The bed was so comfortable and the washroom/shower were great. Overall I loved my stay here and would certainly come back! – Nicole

Our stay with Doug at Mimosa B n’ B was amazing! The suite was spacious, clean and modern. Our dog and us enjoyed the fenced yard, sunny deck and peaceful views. Amazing place to stay. The space is compact but has plenty of room. Very beautifully done. The bathroom with the heated floors and huge shower was stunning. The best part was the privacy. We did not feel at all like we were sharing any space. When we sat on the deck all we could see was the meadow and beautiful sky. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. As soon as we arrived we decided to stay for another night. Can’t say enough good about this little gem. – Grant

Wonderful hosts with beautiful accommodation! My husband and I travelled to Saltspring for a weekend getaway with our 3 Weimaraners, who loved the fully fenced yard!! Doug was nice enough to come greet us when we got in late and showed us all the amazing features of the suite. 3 different coffee makers, an espresso machine, breakfast choices were laid out for us as well as oat milk in the fridge. He provided us with dog bags for our puppy and the whole yard is fully fenced, which was such a treat for our dog being able to explore around in the daytime. The bed is so comfy and the shower is amazing! Definitely would recommend! – Juno

This was a beautiful place to spend a weekend. On a whim, we wanted to visit SSI for the first time, and decided to see if we could find a place at the last minute. Doug graciously worked with us to accommodate us on the same day, and even inquired about our dairy preferences. The home is beautiful and situated on a perfect location, away from the crowds at Ganges but still close enough for easy access. There was so much natural nature right around our doorstep and we woke up every morning to the bees hanging out around the California Lilacs right outside our front door. There were plenty of nice, subtle touches throughout the home, and we felt so at ease! We’ll be back soon! – Ish
