We picked a good year to close. Heat waves, (heat domes) ferry lineups with overloads, Covid numbers rising quickly, anti- vaccinators, anti-maskers…..running a business today has a whole new set of challenges which we do not miss. I empathize with business owners. It is a very difficult time.
We miss all our wonderful guests but are enjoying our own space.

In case you are missing our beautiful December sunrises......
Due to Provincial Health Orders, asking all of us not to travel we are closed for now. We will reopen when restrictions are lifted. We look forward to welcoming you all back to paradise when it is deemed safe to do so.

A stellar Wednesday in the warmth of the glistening sun. Lots of activity.......a heron stalking its prey, the geese in a feeding frenzy with the sea gulls swooping a catch. Tranquil and so serene.

After being closed for months we opened on July 1 to a full house this past weekend. People are so happy to be able to visit the island and get out in nature. Sunday morning, many went for a beach walk and others launched their kayaks.
I am taking new bookings everyday but we still have space through the summer so come join us a few days. Call us soon, so you are not disappointed.......people in BC are on the move and the island is open for business and welcoming visitors. Hope to see you soon.

Dr. Bonnie is so well respected on Salt Spring. We all thank her for her dedication, patience and compassion as she leads us through our COVID19 journey.

Dr. Bonnie Henry’s message to “be kind, be calm, be safe” seems more appropriate than ever in today’s world, even if COVID-19 fears are easing along with the transmission rates. People on Salt Spring will be seeing more of those words as well as Dr.
