It’s 4:30 am and a beautiful clear , cool morning Waiting for the sun to rise we start to hear the rumble of the big diesel engines as the Captains warm up their vessels as their crews begin boarding. Families, friends and locals are pouring in to show support on this marked day . It’s now 5:45 and the 1st. boat has pulled from the wall to begin the parade . People cheer and wave as each vessel passes through the cut heading out as the bag piper plays on . It’s Setting Day at North Lake Harbour and we here at North Lake Beach Motel would like to wish all the Captains and their crews a prosperous and safe 2026 lobster season!

We had an amazing year here at North Lake Beach Motel. We would like to express our gratitude to the new and return guests that stayed with us . To all the Captains and crews at the harbour who made some special memories for our guests, to Val who worked her magic in the kitchen at the restaurant, all the staff at the various PEI visitor centers ...we say thank you to you all.
