Based on the feedback we received, we have consulted with the Town’s insurer and are removing the requirement for the Town to named as “additional insured” on the accommodators insurance policy. Although the “additional insured” requirement has been removed, the town will still require the insurer to acknowledge that the accommodator’s property is being used as a short term rental.

Council will soon reach out to ask how you feel about having dogs on Sauble Beach during the summer months until 9am and again after 7pm daily. We have received many requests to allow dogs and many pleas not to allow them. Shortly we will post our survey on the town's Open Mic platform. A ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday will officially open a new pedestrian bridge in Tara.

The Southampton Parkway between Marysville Lake Rd and Cameron Rd will remain closed while Hydro One is busy removing trees from the lines. Once that's complete, the County crew will address the remainder of the fallen trees however they now feel they can open the road while working. We will update when Hydro One completes their work.
