We hope to welcome those looking to reset, relax and restore deeply. Keeping all amenities elevated, but still in touch with nature allows for smooth and comfortable living without sacrificing creature comforts all while getting back to our roots.

Before every event, you’ll usually find Scott and me digging through the barn, getting everything ready to create a magical evening. ✨

🍂 Fall Highland Cattle Mini Sessions are here! 🍂

We’re opening up a limited number of mini session dates this September for photographers looking to capture beautiful moments with our Highland cattle.

Available Dates
• September 5 & 6
• September 12 & 13
• September 19 & 20

Session Times
☀️ 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM
🌅 6:00 PM – 7:45 PM

Each session includes exclusive access to our Highland cattle, with Scott and I on-site throughout to ensure the cows are comfortable, respected, and to help create the best experience for everyone.

A $75 deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within two weeks of your scheduled session.

Spaces are limited! Send us a DM to reserve your preferred date and time—we can’t wait to see what you create. 🤎📸

I’m the owner and operator behind Highland Hideaways.

While you often see the beautiful Highland cows around here, they’re actually owned and lovingly cared for by Rivers Edge Farms, operated by my parents, Tracy and Scott.

I started Highland Hideaways because I wanted to create a space where people could slow down, take a deep breath, and reconnect with nature. In a world that always seems to be moving, I hope this little corner of the farm gives people permission to simply be.

One of my favourite parts of this business is meeting the incredible people who visit. Whether you’re here for a quiet getaway, a special celebration, or just to spend some time with the cows, I’m so grateful you’ve chosen to be part of this dream.
