Today was a total 180 from yesterday, unfortunately not every day do you get to slam fish and enjoy the sun. The wind again being the biggest killer, we set out for a full day trip but had to call it mid day as the wind and water was starting to get really rough. I hate having to do that. Apart from ensuring my guests can fish effectively, safety is my biggest priority. Landed a few pike, lost a few, and a few follows, as well as sent the top half of a rod off on a cast 😂 This group has been super supportive and are always great to have out, this was their third outing with me and I’m so grateful for people like them!

22 critters today in the boat, suckers, whites, pike, walleye! The pike beat up a few rapalas. Ended up hooking a healthy 36” lady. Good times. Dustin now forever has his “lucky shirt” 😂 Water temps are 16-17c at the surface.

First evening, testing, fishing, and filming with . It’s always one more fish, and the weather turned on us bad by the time we got back to the launch. What you see in the video was when it was still very tame! Camera guys got DRENCHED.

Dragging and snap jigging a crush city mayor, managed to find a receptive little walleye with . The smallest of the day around 16”, biggest of the day was just shy of 25”. A mixture of active/post spawn and cold water temps can make for some slow conditions.
