Week 5 has wrapped up, marking the end of another incredible summer at Camp Bickell! 🌲☀️

Thank you to all of our campers, families, staff, volunteers, and supporters for making this season one to remember. From waterfront adventures and campfires to lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories, it’s been an amazing summer.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back next year! ❤️

We’re proud to support Camp Bickell with a donation towards the future Eco Centre initiative.

These photos capture a special moment recognizing Discovery’s contribution, which will help renovate the Murphy Cabin located at the beginning of the Eco Trail. The revitalized space will support learning, and outdoor experiences for years to come.

A big thank you!

🧡100 Women Who Care Timmins & Area proudly presented a cheque this past week for $4,050.00 to Camp Bickell . Camp Bickell, was our most recent recipient to have been chosen from our quarterly meeting.

This donation is only possible because of our wonderful members who through their time, research, and commitment to our non profit organization. Their support does not go unnoticed.

Because of our members, and the support of our amazing community business partners, 100% of member donations went directly to this meaningful cause.

We are looking for coverage for one, multiple, or all camp weeks. If you are available for even a single week, we encourage you to apply!
📅 Available Camp Weeks:��• Week 2: July 5 – July 11 (Ages 7-14)�• Week 3: July 12 – July 18 (Ages 7-14)�• Week 4: July 19 – July 25 (Ages 7-14)�• Week 5: July 26 – August 1 (Senior Camp, Ages 11-14)
✨ Responsibilities Include:�🩺 Administering medications and providing first aid care�🏥 Responding to camper and staff health concerns�📋 Maintaining health records and medical supplies�🤝 Collaborating with camp leadership, counsellors, and kitchen staff�🏕️ Living on-site during camp sessions (meals and accommodations provided)�💙 Supporting a safe, inclusive, and positive camp environment
✅ Qualifications:�• Registered Nurse (RN/RPN), Nurse Practitioner, or Licensed Physician�• Standard First Aid & CPR Certification�• Vulnerable Sector Check�• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills�• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is considered an asset�• Positive, patient, and team-oriented attitude
