David Matheson is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and music producer with more than four decades devoted to music education, over twenty years of producing, and fifteen years performing on stages across North America.⁠

Fun fact: David is a founding member of the internationally acclaimed Canadian band Moxy FrĂŒvous—a platinum-selling, Juno-nominated group that emerged in the early 1990s and toured extensively across North America and beyond.⁠

Over the years, David has built an exceptionally diverse career. He has performed as a pianist for celebrated singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith, collaborated with the folk collective Betty and the Bobs, led numerous duos and trios throughout Toronto’s vibrant music scene, and served as house band leader for the long-running television series The Royal Canadian Air Farce.⁠

Meet Rae Tienna ⁠

Rae Tienna is a pianist, composer, musical director, educator, and producer whose journey with music spans more than two decades. Though classically trained, her heart has always lived in the feel of sound - the way a chord can tell a story or shift a mood. After years of playing piano and exploring genres from gospel and neo soul to R&B and jazz, Rae learned to trust her curiosity and blend her training with intuition, creating music that moves between spaces and connects people through shared experience.⁠

Since returning to Toronto Rae has played more than 30 shows in a year, including Candlelight Concerts and touring gigs, and she continues to bring her authentic presence to every performance. Alongside performing she runs an after school music program and teaches in public schools, driven by a desire to support others the way someone once believed in her. Her musical path has taught her that the beauty of creating comes from love and curiosity rather than perfection, and that the deepest connections happen when we simply show up in the room together.⁠
