❤️ $10,071.70 RAISED FOR THE SUNNYSIDE KIDS FUND! ❤️

We are incredibly happy and proud to share that our Sunnyside community raised $10,071.70 for the Sunnyside Kids Fund through the Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa!

This is something we work towards all summer long, from our fundraising events and 50/50 draws to our live auction and the many other ways our members come together to give back. Seeing all that hard work pay off is an amazing feeling!

We may be a seasonal campground, but we have a community here that goes above and beyond. Our members continue to show just how generous, caring, and willing to help others they are, and we couldn't be prouder of what they have accomplished.

Through the Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa, this donation will help children and youth access opportunities that can make a real difference in their lives, whether that means attending summer camp, getting the sports equipment they need, or receiving support towards a post-secondary education.

That's $10,071.70 going towards opportunities, experiences, and brighter futures for children and youth. And it happened because our community showed up, gave generously, and worked together towards a common goal.

To our members, volunteers, donors, and everyone who took part in fundraising throughout the summer, THANK YOU! Sunnyside truly is something special, and we are so proud of what we can accomplish together. ❤️

What a way to wrap up the summer at Sunnyside! ☀️

Our Labour Day Weekend was packed with fun, from friendship bracelets and water balloon fights to our Poker Run, Family Feud, yoga, Bingo, chalk art and more!

A huge thank you to the The Trevor Walsh Group for helping us finish the summer on such a high note! 🎶 They put on a fantastic show Sunday night, had the dance floor full and were the perfect way to celebrate one last summer long weekend together.

We also want to give a big thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make our activities and events possible throughout the summer. We are incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful community of people who are always willing to lend a hand and join in on the fun.

And, of course, thank you to all of our Sunnyside members for another amazing summer! ❤️ We love seeing our park so busy, our events so well attended and our community enjoying everything Sunnyside has to offer.

That’s a wrap on our 2026 summer long weekends, and what a summer it was! ☀️
