Our insta-worthy design and hotel standards make us a local lodging favourite. In January 2019, we lost our precious son Robert, to cancer. The Lofty Nest project has served as a creative outlet for me - his Mom - on a journey from a place called Sorrow. My hope is that it will be a restful place for visitors to our community, and those who want to step away from the busyness of life. Good things

come in small packages! The Lofty Nest is only 425 square feet on each floor, which is why we refer to it as a ‘Tiny Home Experience.’ Built in 1910, and purchased in February 2020, it has patiently been waiting for someone to love it and make it sparkle. With great care, the interior and exterior were lovingly upgraded and restored. In December 2020 work was finally complete, in spite of COVID-19. We hope you will come and visit this tiny house with a mighty heart, The Lofty Nest.

This charming bench once sat quietly on the porch of The Lofty Nest, offering a place to rest and reflect. Today, thanks to Bruce’s vision and craftsmanship, it’s been given a bold new life — now a colourful, mobile imagination station full of joy, whimsy, and functionality! 💛💧🎨
