This chalet in the Swiss Alps has all the comforts and luxury features and is located in the largest ski resort in Europe: Les Portes du Soleil

Enjoy the warmth and coziness after a long day of skiing in the large ski area "les Portes du Soleil '. The chalet is equipped with all comforts:

- A kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, four -ring electric cooker and a refrigerator.
- Spacious livi

ngroom with seatingarea, fireplace, dining table, satellite TV (Dutch channels) and DVD player.
- Large balcony with stunning view
- Toilet in the hallway downstairs
- Two bathrooms on the first floor. Each bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower. One of the bathrooms has a bathtub.
-On the first floor 5 separate bedrooms with two single beds. Three bedrooms have doors to a balcony. Private access. You directly enter into a spacious hall with plenty of space for jackets and winter shoes. Everything should be taken care of. If not, there is a concierge in Champery. Besides that the owners can be contacted any time. Portes du Soleil is a large skiing area on the border of Switzerland and France. Because of the different types of ski slopes, there are many opportunities for young and old. For beginners there is a ski school, several tours are organized for the advanced.

Because the area extends over and enormous area, you can enjoy long varied day trips. In Champery there is a big sports center where, amongst others, you can go swimming and ice-skating. There is a fitness as well. The village has a very nice atmosphere with beautiful shops and a few bars and restaurants. It also has several grocery stores. The chalet is easily accessible by car, by plane (Geneva) and / or by train to the center of Champéry. In front of the Chalet there is room for two cars.

- Washer and dryer in laundry room.
- Locker for skis at the skilift.
- A bed for a small child is available as well. The Skilift is about 10 minutes walk from the lift.

For all who have questions on where to sleep in the Chalet.. I have tried draw the rooms. The two rooms with one bed, there can be pulled out a second bed. Sweet dreams!

Latest review of the house (Christmas 2016, now there is loads of snow):

Nice family-friendly chalet with a great view, confortable for 10, close enough to walk to the cute little village . Despite the lack of snow we had a great time (activities had been organized to compensate the lack of snow). Be aware that it might be more complicated to reach the chalet with snow.

New Year's Eve in the snow? The Chalet is available! Enjoy the slopes of Portes du Soleil, have a beautifull view on the fireworks in the village from your balcony and drink champagne with friends and / or family sitting at the large table or in front of the fireplace. Book the Chalet between the 31.12.2016 and the 07.01.2017 for 2700 Euro. Do you want more information? Send a PM!

Last year Marcus rented the house: "A very pretty, cosy, and remarkably well-built chalet, in excellent condition, with one big romantically lit open space with fireplace to relax around with friends and family. We immediately felt at home. An excellent choice for a larger group that wants to spend time together and still have some elbow-room! It's a pretty steep climb to the chalet but once there you will enjoy a magnificent view. The beds were of good quality, and the 5 separate bedrooms allow plenty of privacy. We very much enjoyed the private ski locker right next to the cable-car station. The caretaker, M.Nançot was friendly and helpful, and so was our host. Thank you for a very pleasant experience"
