STOP COMPLAINING, START SOLVING

We all see problems around us every day. Poor services, expensive products, unemployment, transportation challenges, waste, lack of access to certain services and many others.

But there are two ways to respond.

One person sees the problem and complains about it.

Another person sees the same problem and asks, "What can I do to solve this?"

That second mindset is where entrepreneurship begins.

You may not have all the money today. You may not have a university degree or all the resources you need. But if you can identify a genuine problem, understand why it exists and develop a practical solution, you may already have the foundation of a business.

IT'S MONDAY, A NEW WEEK AND A NEW CONVERSATION!

Let’s start the week with a question some followers have asked:

“What if I identify a problem and have a solution, but I don’t have the capital to implement it?”

Access to business credit in Cameroon can be challenging, especially for small entrepreneurs. But lack of personal capital doesn’t always mean the end of a good idea.

I recently came across an initiative called “One Million Hands”, where 1 million people contributing just 100 FCFA each could raise 100 million FCFA.

Now imagine your business solution requires 10 million FCFA. If you successfully pitch your idea to 50 people willing to invest 200,000 FCFA each as shareholders, you have raised your 10 million FCFA.

The lesson is simple: your network, credibility, solution, and ability to sell your vision can help you raise capital. Of course, any investment arrangement should be properly and legally structured.

This is also the mindset we are looking for in our upcoming Bengel Ventures Entrepreneurial Giveaway. We want to support two deserving entrepreneurs who can identify real problems and present practical solutions.
