We’re back at Conrad New York Downtown, an all-suite hotel in Lower Manhattan with an excellent location.

The vibe here is modern, chic, and much more relaxed compared to the classic elegance of the Waldorf Astoria New York.

All rooms are spacious suites with a separate living room and bedroom, perfect for a comfortable stay in NYC. We were upgraded to a Hudson River view suite, and the view was fantastic.

A small detail we really appreciate: the built-in filtered water dispenser in the room.

Service was excellent as always, and we enjoyed dining at Atrio, with consistently great staff.

Being a Hilton Diamond member really pays off in China and honestly across much of Asia.

At DoubleTree by Hilton Shenzhen Airport Residences, located in a lively neighborhood full of shops, cafés, and restaurants and just 15 minutes from Bao’an International Airport, we experienced once again why status matters.

We were upgraded from a Queen Studio Residence to a King One-Bedroom Residence, giving us much more space. We also received a welcome gift with four canned drinks, a small but nice touch.

The real highlight? The Executive Lounge.
Open from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM, it offers soft and hot drinks throughout the afternoon, followed by a happy hour in the evening with a generous selection of salads, cold cuts, hot dishes, and desserts.

Breakfast was just as impressive, with a large buffet of both hot and cold options.

And all of this… for around $60 per night. 🤯

We’ve already stayed at Conrad Macao three times, and every single stay came with an upgrade to a large suite, always a great experience.

While the Executive Lounge closed about two years ago, Diamond members still enjoy benefits such as room upgrades, a welcome amenity (this time, delicious biscuits 🍪) and complimentary breakfast.

And that breakfast deserves a special mention: it’s easily one of the best breakfasts across Hilton hotels worldwide. From roast beef to a Japanese-style breakfast and so much more, there’s something for everyone.
