MEET THE LOCALS: GUINEAFOWL PUFFER

Looks friendly, moves slowly… but there’s more going on here 👀
Guineafowl puffers are one of those fish you’ll often spot cruising calmly around the reef.
Black body, white dots… hard to miss.
A few fun facts for your next dive:

🐡 Can puff up when they feel threatened
🐡 Have strong teeth to crush shells
🐡 Often curious and not too shy around divers
🐡 Can be toxic, so definitely look but don’t touch
Next time you see one… keep your distance and enjoy the show.

Se ve tranquilo, se mueve despacio… pero hay más de lo que parece 👀
Los peces globo guineafowl suelen nadar calmadamente por el arrecife.
Cuerpo oscuro con puntos blancos… imposible no verlos.
Algunos datos curiosos para tu próxima inmersión:

🐡 Se inflan cuando se sienten en peligro
🐡 Tienen dientes fuertes para romper conchas
🐡 Son curiosos y no muy tímidos con los buzos

Lobsters spend their days hidden deep inside rocks and crevices, only coming out after dark to explore the reef and search for food. Their long antennae help them sense the world around them — and even more impressive, they can regrow lost limbs over time.

Next time you’re diving, keep an eye on the cracks… you never know who’s hiding there 👀🌊

🦞 Conoce a los habitantes nocturnos del arrecife.
Las langostas pasan el día escondidas entre rocas y grietas, y salen por la noche para explorar el arrecife en busca de comida. Sus largas antenas les ayudan a percibir todo lo que ocurre a su alrededor — y aún más increíble, pueden regenerar extremidades perdidas con el tiempo.

La próxima vez que bucees, mira bien entre las grietas… nunca sabes quién puede estar escondido allí 👀🌊

I know I should sleep… but the voice in my head goes: blub blub 🌊🤿

Somewhere between the bubbles and the blue, I left a piece of my mind underwater.
Now all I can think about is going back down.
Sleep is temporary… ocean thoughts are permanent.
