Our property, Oasis Uvita, is 100% off-grid with solar power and mountain spring water. Hike trails and interact with wildlife on the 45-acre property, which is adjacent to Rio Uvita. Spend the day swimming in the pool, doing a yoga class, eating delicious food or getting a massage. Owner Sebastian is a renowned chef who is also available to prepare dinner on request
The space
Our property is tucked away in the mountain side of Uvita, about 10 minutes from town. We have a gorgeous 360 view of nature with many different kinds of trees, palms, epiphytes, flowers and fruit trees. We feel lucky to see toucan families and many beautiful birds and butterflies everyday. We are striving to support and protect this beautiful piece of the Earth by using organic and permaculture principles. We are in a raw jungle with animals, reptiles and insects living around. We want to show that off-grid living can be comfortable and beautiful. Two of our rooms have an option to be a King or two Twin XL beds. Our third room is a Queen. Our property is 10 minutes up a mountain road from the highway in Uvita. It is a well maintained road but requires 4x4. Buses and taxis are also available. We are in a secluded area with no other homes or buildings in view and very little light pollution, which makes stargazing possible. Other things to note
Along with a farm-to-table breakfast from Chef Sebastian, we offer an afternoon small bites menu and an ever changing dinner menu that follows the seasons. For many years Sebastian owned a popular food truck and restaurant in Toronto, Canada. His love of food goes back to childhood and he loves sharing his passion with others. Your meals will always be prepared with the freshest, most organic produce available and ethical offerings from land and sea. Michelle is yoga teacher and Thai-yoga massage therapist and she has been sharing these offerings for many years. She is always excited to teach a class to those who are interested. Massage is also available upon request. We are excited to share the magic of this property and jungle with others. Our project is ever-evolving and expanding so come be apart of it !
