This apartment is situated in a village called Oroklini, which is located 15 minutes drive from Larnaca airport, 20 minutes drive to the popular Ayia Napa, were you could walk around the harbour, and take a boat trip, to see the famous sea caves, and the ghost town of Famagusta. The apartment is situated close to the main motorway giving you easy access to all the area's in Cyprus, with Paphos only 1 hr 20 minutes away, so you could fly into Paphos airport too. A rental car is advisable to give you the freedom to visit as much of the island as you have time for, but there is a good bus service and a local taxi rank. Oroklini is close to Pyla sea front and Dekalia british army base, where you can experience the best ever fish and chips at the Cessac. Larnaca has also a lot to see, recently having a revamp and face lift by the EU to increase tourism, with its beautiful seafront promenade, Marina, medieval fort, museum's, and historical churches, there is plenty to see. In Larnaca you can book bus tour excursions at the travel shops, at very reasonable prices, to get you around the various must see sites, including Troodos mountains, Kyrenia & Famagusta over the Turkish side (passport needed), Roman amphitheatre, Aphrodite's rock, and Paphos's castle, and much more. Cyprus is a beautiful island to visit. The apartment is on the top floor, and boosts a seaview from the balcony, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a home from home feel, which will easily sleeps 4. The apartment block has a lift and allocated parking bay. It is also wheelchair/pushchair friendly with slopes, so caters for all needs. There is a large family swimming pool, sun lounge area ( 2 sunbeds included) and a small kiddies pool, situated on a secure complex.
