If you look at many old houses in Lefkara, you’ll notice how quickly they can deteriorate once they are left without care.
This was the condition of Kallisteni House before the restoration.
Parts of the structure were already collapsing.
Some areas were barely usable.
And this is not unusual, many traditional homes face the same fate.
Restoring a house like this is never simple.
It requires time, patience, and a careful approach to preserve what can still be saved.
In this case, the goal was not to rebuild, but to respect the original structure and bring it back to life.
