Culture tells us that the “school” and “education” has always been a source of hope in the Filipino community. Education among the poor (and even the well-off) in the Philippines is most popularly tagged as “the only gift parents can give to their children” as well as “the only treasure that can never be stolen from an individual.” Many Filipinos consider getting a diploma as their pag-asa or “hope” towards a better life. It is then high time that initiatives focusing on education be given light! This is it! During the 2013 Copenhagen pride parade where it is the first time that Filipinos organized a team to participate...2 of our BEXES are now in the front page out of thousands of delegates.
we all walked the streets with pride...from the start when we were just planning the BEX AND THE CITY event we already have this statement in mind:
