A.L.🗼🗼The Thomas Point Shoal Light, also known as Thomas Point Shoal Light Station, is a historic lighthouse in the Chesapeake Bay on the east coast of the United States, and the most recognized lighthouse in Maryland. It is the only screw-pile lighthouse in the bay which stands at its original site. The current structure is a 1½ story hexagonal wooden cottage, equipped with a foghorn as well as the light.

A.L.🗼🗼The Hooper Strait Lighthouse is a historic 1879 screw-pile lighthouse now located on Navy Point at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, Maryland.
Original Purpose: Built in 1879 to guide boats through the shallow shoals of Hooper Strait between the Chesapeake Bay and Tangier Sound.
Screw-Pile Design: Constructed on iron pilings with screw tips twisted directly into the muddy river bottom.
Previous Station: Replaced an earlier 1867 screw-pile light that was destroyed by floating ice in 1877.
Rescue and Move: Saved from demolition in 1966, cut into pieces, and moved 40 miles by barge to its current museum home.

A.L.🗼🗼Whaleback Light is a historic lighthouse marking the mouth of the Piscataqua River in Kittery, Maine. It is located on a rocky outcrop offshore southwest of Fort Foster and south of Wood Island in Kittery. The present tower was built in 1872. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Saint-Mathieu was built in 1835 among the ruins of the ancient Abbaye Saint-Mathieu de Fine-Terre. It is a major lighthouse of the French coast, with a theoretical range of 29 nautical miles (around 55 km).
It was classified as a monument historique on 23 May 2011.
