Vera Playa is in the Province of Almeria, Andalucia and Almeria has its own airport. *The drive from Almeria Airport is approximately 40 minutes. From other airports such as Mercia or Alicante, you can hire a car and drive down (driv

e time up to 2 hours). The apartment is in a secure, gated complex with designated parking. Keys are available for the electric car gate, gym area & side entrances. Vera Playa has a worldwide reputation as one of the best naturist resorts in the world & part of the beach IS for naturists. There is a large supermarket (Consum) about 15 minutes walk from the complex and other supermarkets such as Lidl & Mercadona can be found in the nearby towns of Garrucha & Vera. Souvenir shops, Cafes, Tapas bars & beachside bars are to be found throughout Vera Playa. There are also car & bicycle hire places nearby, hairdressers, banks, restaurants, garden centres, furniture shops & places to visit. Within walking distance (15 mins) is Andalucia's only water park. The water park opens for business in May and usually has special offers for pm entry. Keen Golfers will enjoy the area as there are lots of Golf courses to choose from, in particular ‘Desert Springs’, a short drive away. For €1.20, the number 2 bus will take you into Garrucha, Mojacar, Vera & other towns nearby. There is a great market at Villaricos & Mojacar is a stunning place to visit, with it's medieval buildings and architecture built, on the side of the mountains. Mojacar has two Tourist information centres, one on the beach (Playa) and one at the top of the mountain (Via steps or an elevator up to the top)

The apartment consists of a fully fitted, open plan Kitchen with breakfast bar, Lounge, twin bedroom, main bedroom, main bathroom with shower, bath, toilet & bidet, 2nd bathroom with shower and toilet. Large 'L' shaped terrace accessible from the lounge and the doors of the main bedroom. Communal grounds include; Children's play equipment, grassed areas, Padel Tennis court, Fountain, Outdoor pool, children's splash pool, spa room (jacuzzi and Sauna) & gym equipment.

*Because this is a residential area, there are polite notices not to make too much noise around the pool between the hours of 3 & 5 pm as this is the Spanish 'Siesta' time. There are a good mix of English, Irish and Spanish families in the Veranda Agua complex. Some rent out (like us) and some families live there permanently. There is always someone around to ask if you need anything, we have found everyone to be very friendly each time we've been to stay out there.
