As we sit here in the cortijo at the beginning of August, the casita is full, the guests are in the pool, us indoors with the a/c on...... I receive an availability enquiry for the beginning of December!!

It's so hot, but never fear, there’s plenty of shade under the trees in the garden, a refreshing swimming pool and air conditioning at Estudio Escondido!!

This time from a guest from the UK who wanted a quiet place to work - away from the hubbub of London, but with its own excellent Internet connection!!

"Here while working, so not a lot of time to explore. Though I enjoyed visiting the town.

Did experience some lovely food and service at El Limonero.

And also sundown drinks, BBQ, mountain views, sun, clouds, swims and the feeling of home.

Thank you for the lovely welcome, the welcome pack, the advice on places to go. You have a stunning property and it's been an amazing place from which to work.

"Enjoying breakfast in the garden, soaking up the views and peaceful surroundings. Walks, picnics, exploring the local area.

We walked to Bayacas, returning to Orgiva alongside the Rio Chico.
We visited Granada. Bus from near Consum supermarket. Timetable from Alpujarra Plaza Tourist Information Office.

We were served excellent food at Baraka Restaurant.
