When it comes to dining by the sea in Ibiza, options are indeed plentiful, but when it comes to fine dining on the beachfront at night, Yellow Fish ticks all the right boxes for us when it comes to setting, service and seafood to savour. With a kitchen helmed by Cristiano Javier Vardè, the restaurant’s epicurean ethos is centred around zero- kilometre ethics, and when you’re choosing between lush lobster rolls, seabass ceviche with passionfruit aguachile, rock fish suquet or Josper-roasted catch of the day, you can truly taste the difference.

Turning 50 is a milestone for anyone, but for a nightclub in Ibiza, it’s a whole new level of endurance. To honour one of the last remaining bastions of authentic Ibiza clubbing, White Ibiza features writer Tina Browning took a deep dive into Amnesia Ibiza's past – all the way back to 1976, when Madrid-born intellectual, counterculture provocateur and (ironically) the future author of Spain’s seminal treaty on psychoactive substances, Antonio Escohotado, took an old Ibicencan finca near San Rafael and turned it into a temple of noctural rebellion.

Beneath star-scattered skies and under a kaleidoscopic blanket of acid, a new epoch dawned – one that included Corsican syndicates, embezzlement, vanishing crates of whisky and gin, some wild gifts from Frank Zappa, police raids and a whole lot more. The tale that follows is as wild and wacky as you’d expect, covering characters from Alfredo and Leo Mas to Sven Väth, Marco Carola, Ricardo Villalobos and even Grace Jones.

There’s no thing as too much leopard print, said every fashionista born into existence. And CLAP HOUSE Ibiza know it – so much so, they teamed up with the experts from Dolce & Gabbana Casa to deck out the entire stunning pool deck in the iconic print and now have one of the most recognisable and Instagrammable spaces on the island. Rrraoar!

Beyond the aesthetics however, this poolside restaurant has really earned its stripes – or should we say spots? – since it opened, thanks to its beyond tasty Mediterranean-influenced contemporary Japanese menu – think hand rolls, sushi, sashimi, oh my (though it’s often hard to go past the tuna tataki pizza and chicken katsu sando when you’re sipping Dolce & Gabbana Rosa by the pool), exceptional service and stylish Wellness Club.

When we first met Stevie Benanty – the very same Stevie whose name is branded across the doors, menus and signage of her Santa Gertrudis restaurant, Stevie alla Bottega Ibiza – we had no idea (to her humble credit) of the rock, roll, disco and foodie heritage she possessed.

Without giving away too many spoilers, let’s just say there’s a dash of Studio 54, just one degree of separation from Frank Sinatra, a connection to iconic NY club Shelter, a slice of Sicily, a hint of Paris and so much more to this second generation Brooklyn girl – who is taking her proverbial 15 minutes by the balls and running with it, just the way her father taught her.

Intrigued? You should be. The story gets even better when Stevie decamps to Europe with her young family, meets the legendary Donna Lennard, opens not one but two island restaurants including the pretty-in-pink Mira Lounge… but we’ll stop there. Curated and hosted by Richie Hawtin himself, the special event – which is described as celebrating the connection between flavour and sound in an intimate, communal setting – features a five-course menu matched with an exclusive sake and music pairing, including special selections hand-picked and jetted in to the island for the occasion.⁠ ⁠
