⛪ A church with stories you don’t expect.
The Church of San Pedro, built in the early 16th century, is one of Arcos’ most important late-Gothic landmarks. From the outside, its Baroque tower already stands out. Inside, it gets even more intriguing: one of the oldest and largest altarpieces in Cádiz and, at the foot of the main chapel, two reclining mummies — Saint Victor and Saint Fructuosus — brought from Rome centuries ago to draw pilgrims to the town.
✨ In Arcos, even quiet churches have surprising stories to tell.
