This has been an amazing year for us at Amatista; initially things massively slowed down after the sale fell through and we needed some time to reassess what we wanted to do. Once it was clear we were staying things moved quickly and we have been so grateful and touched by all the incredible groups and clients who came flowing back in. So many had been devastated at the possibility of us no longer being here. Well we are still here and and joyfully welcoming back our ongoing clients as well as having some really amazing new ones. We are very blessed to attract such beautiful people and getting to host such inspiring work.
We still have some spaces next year for groups and individual bookings so do get in touch or share with others who might be interested in spending time in this incredible oasis we are blessed to be part of.

Another wonderful review of one of our guests...

I stayed at Tao Cottage for a week. A very cozy cottage that is part of Villa Amatista. I was very well received with a tour. It is a wonderful place to stay, an oasis of greenery on the island. It is very quiet there. Amatista is also very centrally located, so you are really not far from the sea and can easily do your shopping. Tequise, La Santa and San Barthalomé are nearby! Ideal for sports enthusiasts, walkers and people who want some peace and quiet. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary items and the bedroom was cozy and comfortably furnished. There was also a terrace at the cottage where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning. It is a wonderful place to stay and on the property there are places everywhere where you can enjoy the sun and the peace and quiet. Ingeborg is a gentle woman who taught me in a week to reflect on the beauty of the island and myself. She is also always ready for a chat 🙏🏻 I will definitely come back…

Ik logeerde in Tao Cottage voor een weekje. Een zeer gezellig huisje dat deel uitmaakt van Villa Amatista. Ik werd supergoed ontvangen met een rondleiding. Het is een prachtige plaats om te logeren, een oase van groen op het eiland. Het is er zeer rustig. Amatista ligt ook zeer centraal waardoor je echt niet ver van de zee bent en gemakkelijk boodschappen kan doen. Tequise, La Santa en San Barthalomé liggen vlakbij! Ideaal voor de sportievelingen, wandelaars en de mensen die even rust willen. De keuken was voorzien van alle nodige spullen en de slaapkamer was gezellig en gerieflijk ingericht. Er was ook een terrasje aan het huisje waar je gezellig kan ontbijten ‘s ochtends. Het is er zalig vertoeven en op het terrein zijn er overal plekjes waar je kan genieten van de zon en de rust. Ingeborg is een zachte vrouw die me op een week heeft leren stilstaan bij de pracht van het eiland en van mezelf. Ze staat ook steeds klaar voor een babbel 🙏🏻 Ik kom zeker terug…

Ici Vous êtes au cœur d un jardin d Eden… des lumières vespérales du désert volcanique qui entoure la bâtisse au réveil que vous choisirez tonique ou méditatif dans une merveilleuse et luxueuse salle de yoga, en passant par le repos d’un jardin luxuriant, et la fraîcheur d’une jolie piscine, tout est fait avec goût et surtout avec soin. Ingeborg a été si accueillante ! Nous remercions le destin d avoir guidé nos pas jusque là …! A noter que, même sans voiture, nous avons avec ma fille de 9 ans, pu nous déplacer sans difficulté et rencontré de belles aventures .. Je recommande très vivement ! Au plaisir d’une expérience renouvelée !!

Another review of one of our visitors:

How to describe a few days at Villa Amatista ? Everything is as it has to be. When the sun shines, the sun shines. When the wind blows, the wind blows. When Luka makes music with guitar or handpan, Luka makes music. For me Villa Amatista from the first second felt like being home. And this continued until I left. It is an oasis of tranquility. No sound from cars, planes, machines or even animals. Just silence. Silence that I absorbed throughout my stay and filled my whole body. Silence that serves as balancing healing energy for a busy head.

The weather and climate are nice and surprisingly varying on the Island. Villa Amatista has lots of corners and small places (and saltwater swimming pool) where you can enjoy or hide from sun and wind. The environment and view are wonderful. Ocean, black sand beaches at El Golfo, white sand beaches, the beautiful Jardin de Cactus, all within less than 30 minutes driving distance. Hosts Tantraya Liefdespionier and Elske de Korver, thanks for the great time and your company. Looking forward to meet you again.
