☀️ Back in our happy place: Mijas, Costa del Sol! ☀️
We returned to our home in Mijas for a full two-week vacation with one simple goal: no work, no projects, no fixing the house—just enjoying ourselves. We managed that about 90% of the time (those who know me know I can never completely resist buying or fixing something! 😄).
This trip was extra special because our friends from Toronto joined us, along with our two furry children: Jimmy, our well-traveled cat, and Maxie, our 6-month-old puppy. Our daughter also spent a week with us, balancing vacation with studying for her final university exams. 🎓
Most days were spent at our favorite beach in La Cala de Mijas, but we also explored Marbella, Estepona, Málaga, Granada, Nerja, Almuñécar, Ronda, and Setenil de las Bodegas. That's what we love most about Mijas—you are surrounded by so many beautiful places and never run out of things to do.
It was an active holiday filled with beach days, sightseeing, great food, long walks, and poolside relaxation—exactly the kind of vacation we enjoy.
