What does Oria have to offer, well we’ve been telling people for 11 years how tranquil this area is.

There is a lot of opportunity for families who have something to offer here, or who can work remotely, and want that feeling that you’re living somewhere that has preserved its history and traditions but has access to enough modern conveniences… It’s also close enough to so many places to visit

According to the latest Idealista data, Oria is now 5th in Spain for international interest in homes for sale, with 58.5% of property searches coming from people outside Spain.

We’ve been introducing international families to Oria town since 2019.

We just read an article that came out yesterday, stating that Oria has the 5th-highest proportion of international interest in property for sale in the whole of Spain…

According to new Idealista data, 58.5% of the interest in homes for sale in Oria comes from international buyers.

We’ve been here since 2015, started our new life in Oria, and gradually built our family business, welcoming Worldschooling families since 2019. Through Shepherd Sales & Rentals, we’ve also had the chance to help a number of international families find homes here.

What we’d really love to see is more families choosing rural villages like Oria, and bringing life back to these places. Renovating these beautiful old properties, and supporting local businesses and becoming part of a family centric community. Because this is the Spain we love.
