German chefs and twin brothers, Thomas and Mathias Sühring decided to join the ever-growing Bangkok’s dining scene back in 2016. They are bringing a modern take on traditional German cuisine through their tasting menus with sophistication and elegance as they are inspired by family recipes, childhood memories and their journey as chefs. The brothers at Sühring embraces seasonal, local products as well as high-end ingredients, which are plated as minimal as it can get. It was a culinary surprise and dishes were absolutely beautiful, from beginning to end. You have to ask to be seated in front of the open kitchen and to see the action live during your experience. Now they have are awarded with 2 Stars from the , ranked No. 22 in Asia and No. 72 in the world .

If you’re ever in Manila, you better get to this place , seriously so far the best bakery I’ve tried in the region. I’ve only tried 3 kinds but seriously can’t wait to try more when I get back to the Philippines. Seriously ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️, especially with Filipino puns that were attached to it.

I am so thrilled to share this culinary experience that I had in the Philippines, right in the heart of Metro Manila, by Chef Owner . What an amazing way to feel, understand and taste the Filipino culture from the ingredients used, stories told that are told and executed with perfection in the dishes. I am Filipino myself and that makes me truly proud with the craftsmanship of what Toyo Eatery has to offer; from its locally sourced ingredients and the overflowing passion that you feel from the whole team complimented by the whole décor and vibe. They have been given the Sustainable Restaurant Award 2023, the Best Restaurant in the Philippines 2023 and No. 41 in the Asia’s restaurants. Well deserved and Maraming maraming salamat!

Ănăn in Vietnamese means, “eat, eat” and is located in Cho Cù along Tôn Thât Dam Street, a wet market in the heart of bustling Saigon. Dynamic, street food-inspired dishes come courtesy of Vietnamese-American banker turned chef , whose resume includes stints at Caprice in Hong Kong, and the David Thompson-led Nahm in Bangkok. was awarded  #40 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, the first and only Michelin Star restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam 2023. Well deserve and congratulations! You will get to taste Vietnamese flavours and see the chefs creativity through his dishes. The interior was hip and well designed within the building filled with different concept by the chef on each floor and the vibe was totally giving the right vibe. Service was hospitable and warm smiles from the team.

I absolutely loved the vibe and deco of Agora. All the items on the tasting menu were not only pleasing to the eyes or the camera but flavors were on-point and was heavenly delectable. Thank you Chef for an amazing Spanish gastronomic experience. Wines were also really good especially the one that was from Tenerife, Canary Island, which was special and thank you for the service .anton and the whole team.

Agora, an amazing representation of Spanish cuisine into the fine-dining scene of Hong Kong, located inside Tai Kwun. It’s the latest venture from Executive Chef Antonio Oviedo with JIA Group, who is known for his successful tapas bar in Wan Chai which I personally enjoyed a lot called 22 Ships. Agora reflects the ancient Latin definition of being the “centre of life”, a hub of socialization and the place where ideas converge. In Chef Oviedo’s interpretation, Spanish cuisine is contemporary and ever-evolving, using the finest seasonal ingredients both found locally and elsewhere especially from Spain.

Sizzle your way to the DARA at the heart of Sai Ying Pun, a great place to feed your cravings for authentic Filipino dishes or a great introduction to the cuisine; native to the Philippines and even better with a Kapampangan touch. This is the language mainly spoken in the province of Pampanga, where majority of my family comes from, just checking like the family behind the restaurant. Absolutely try the Kinilaw, the Pinoy take of a ceviche filled with acidity and flavor. If you think Filipinos only eat rice, you’re wrong because noodle dishes also exist like Palabok, rice noodles topped with this achuete-dyed sauce (annatto powder), shrimp, fish sauce, chicharon and eggs. My personal favorite will be the sizzling Sisig, you just have to try to find out what it is, if you dont already know. Ending it with bite size traditional desserts from the Philippines.

You can drink your night away with cocktails that are either inspired from Filipino flavors just like this Chocotini served with childhood sweet called ChocNut or classic cocktail with a Pinoy twist, like their Calamansi Margarita, all crafted by .2
