We are so sorry to let you know that our Alan (Gibbons) who managed the resort for a number of years, sadly passed away yesterday. He had been battling ‘motor neurone’ disease for some time.
He was a lovely man who genuinely cared about our owners, guests and clients. He was also a great friend and I know that he was very appreciated at Club Olympus. Our thoughts are of course with Mandy and the rest of Alan’s family. We will miss his daft humour, big smile and lovely nature. RIP mate 😢❤️

We do enjoy Sushi/Sashimi. This one at Shan restaurant, Las Chafiras, is very good. They have a dedicated Sushi Chef who is brilliant. They also have a fabulous traditional menu. It’s about 10 minutes by taxi or car drive back towards the airport on the motorway. As far as Chinese/ Fusion restaurants go, it’s a winner

Many of you ask after mum, Jane and ask if she is okay. Here we are yesterday, obviously mum is getting older and frailer at 80’odd years old, however she is bright as a button and doing really well. She sends her love to all and has fabulous memories of the resort and our wonderful guests, owners and friends. It is unlikely that she will make it back to Tenerife ( because airports are just a nightmare now) but we never say never. See you all soon 👍😘

A lovely afternoon fishing with our friend Scott Fisher on the ‘Happy Hooker’
We had two beautiful Wahoo (called Peto in Spanish) they are wonderful eating, white fish not brown meat like Tuna. Super delicate flavour, not fishy but a good rich texture more like a Hake but not as dense.
And yes, Scott’s is bigger than mine 😝
