Earth is called 'the Blue Planet' 🌍 for a reason. And it's not just because it generates 50% of the oxygen and absorbs 30% of human-produced carbon dioxide. It's not because of over 70% of our world is covered by the oceans. Is because what it is underneath is of paramount importance for what is above to breathe, eat and exist.
On this World Oceans Day 🌊, let's get together to be guardians of its future, not just for you, but generations to come rather than mere beneficiaries. The future of climate and life both sides of the surface depends on it 🩵

A la Tierra la llaman el "Planeta Azul” 🌍 por un buen motivo. Y no es sólo porque genera el 50% del oxígeno o absorbe el 30% del CO₂ que producimos los humanos. Tampoco porque más del 70% del planeta esté cubierto por océanos. Es porque lo que pasa debajo del mar es clave para que todo lo que está arriba pueda respirar, alimentarse e incluso existir.
En este Día Mundial de los Océanos 🌊, sumemos fuerzas para ser guardianes de su futuro, no solo beneficiarios. Por nosotros y por las generaciones que vienen. El futuro del clima y de la vida, dentro y fuera del agua, depende de ello 🩵
