After a wonderful Christmas break, the whole team at Hotel Dona Catalina is back at work. We hope that we will see you in San Pedro de Alcantara in 2024. We wish everyone a fantastic year, and we look forward to a year full of sun and happiness.

Another wonderful summer, as always, in beautiful Andalucia. The warmth of the sun during the day offers refreshment on the narrow streets of San Pedro, and at the beach, the Mediterranean awaits you for a refreshing dip. In the evening, you can enjoy a dinner on one of the village's many terraces. And why not sit down at one of the many benches in the church square like the locals, people watching, and see the children playing with the jets of water that magically emerge from the ground?
Heat wave? Thanks to the microclimate and a nice breeze from the sea, it is again a beautiful summer, just as we love it.

Tonight we celebrate La Noche de San Juan, which is celebrated annually in Spain on the night of 23-24 June. It is a magical evening where Spaniards celebrate the beginning of summer. Different rituals with water and fire, the symbols of purification, are part of this night.

Tomorrow, Friday 02-12-2022 at 19:30 the Christmas lights will go back on in San Pedro. This will take place on the Paseo de las Palmeras. Iluminaciones Ximenez worked on this for many nights but they were able to sleep well at Hotel Dona Catalina. We wish you a wonderful December month.
