Ses Salines fue declarado Parque Natural en el año 2001 y constituye una de las visitas imprescindibles que hay que realizar en Ibiza.
La entrada al parque se encuentra situada en la inmediaciones de Sant Jordi. Éste acoge no sólo los antiquísimos estanques de las salinas, sino también las playas de Es Codolar, Ses Salines, Es Cavallet; la cala de Sa Sal Rossa; las torres defensivas de Es Carregador y Ses Portes, la iglesia de Sant Francesc y la capilla de Sa Revista. En la casa parroquial de Sant Francesc, junto a la iglesia, se ubica también el Centro de Interpretación del Parque Natural de Ses Salines, donde puede conocerse con detalle la flora y la fauna de la reserva, así como la historia de los estanques.

Ses Salines was declared a Natural Park in 2001 and constitutes one of the essential visits to be made in Ibiza.
The entrance to the park is located in the vicinity of Sant Jordi. This is home not only to the ancient salt ponds, but also to the beaches of Es Codolar, Ses Salines, Es Cavallet; the cove of Sa Sal Rossa; the defensive towers of Es Carregador and Ses Portes, the church of Sant Francesc and the chapel of Sa Revista. In the parish house of Sant Francesc, next to the church, is also located the Ses Salines Natural Park Interpretation Center, where you can learn in detail about the flora and fauna of the reserve, as well as the history of the ponds.
