Some moments stay with you forever. ❤️
This photo takes us back to Levi World Cup 2015 – the year when there wasn’t enough snow for racing. The World Cup competitions had to be cancelled, but the people still came, the atmosphere stayed alive, and Levi refused to give up on the weekend. 😮💨
On stage stood Eppu Normaali ⚡️
For those outside Finland: Eppu Normaali is more than just a rock band. Formed in 1976 in the city of Tampere, they have become one of the most beloved and influential bands in Finnish music history. Their songs have soundtracked generations of Finns for nearly five decades, making them a true cornerstone of Finnish rock culture. 🎸🎶
That evening in Levi, when there was no ski racing to cheer for, Eppu Normaali gave everyone something else to remember. The fells echoed with music instead of cowbells, and the World Cup spirit lived on. 🥹
As Eppu Normaali prepares to take the stage for the final three concerts of an extraordinary 50-year career, we simply want to say THANK YOU! 🤝
Thank you for the unforgettable music, the memories, and for bringing a piece of Tampere all the way to the fells of Levi —and into the hearts of so many of us. 💫
Enjoy your well-earned retirement. 🎸🩵and hopefully we’ll see you on the slopes in Levi many more times. ❄️
A special thank you to Teemu Moisio for sharing this wonderful memory and these historic photos with us. 🫶
