In the past year we have been working on a family project called The Opal Retreat: a reimagined luxury haven in the heart of Boulogne-sur-Mer.

Once known as B&B La Volière, this iconic house with 8 bedrooms for 15 people has been a beloved part of the community for decades.

Now, while going through a complete transformation, we’re bringing it back to life with a fresh vision: blending the old French architure with a fresh art deco design.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll take you behind the scenes of our renovation journey, working together with our architecture team of .archi .

We will reveal each uniquely designed room, and share the stories that make this place so special. Why did we buy this house? What went behind the interior design curation? And where will it take us?

The Opal Retreat, une maison au cœur de Boulogne-sur-Mer que nous transformons en havre de luxe.

Précédemment connu sous le nom B&B La Volière, cette maison iconique avec ses 8 chambres pour 15 personnes fait partie de la communauté depuis des années. Les chères propriétaires précédents nous ont fait l’honneur de nous confier cette magnifique maison pour la donner nouvelle vie.

Au fil des prochaines semaines, on vous dévoilera chaque chambre unique et les histoires qui rendent cet endroit si spécial. Pourquoi on a acheté cette maison ? Comment on a pensé l’aménagement intérieur ? Et à quoi ça ressemblera le jour de l’ouverture?
