Fin de Saison 2026 ☀️🤍

And just like that, another summer season comes to an end.

Throughout the summer, we've had the pleasure of welcoming so many wonderful families to Petit Mas de Rêve. Different stories, different adventures, different little personalities… but all leaving their own little mark on our summer.

We have a little tradition of taking a photo with every family before they leave. Looking back at all these photos together makes us realise just how many beautiful memories have been made here. 🥹

Thank you to every family who stayed with us, laughed with us, joined our activities, shared a meal at our table and made Petit Mas de Rêve feel so alive this summer.

Some of you came for the first time, some of you came back again — and we already hope to see many of you again someday. 🤍

Merci for making this summer so special.

And while we're saying goodbye to summer 2026, we're already looking forward to summer 2027. ☀️

Our calendar is open, and quite a few weeks have already found their families.

Still dreaming of autumn? 🍂🤍

Last autumn, our little guests spent their days collecting, creating, playing and discovering all the little things that make this season so special.

And this year, Colors & Chestnuts is back!

Our Autumn Family Weeks are all about enjoying the season together, with plenty of little adventures for the children and cosy moments for the whole family.

Think 🍁 autumn crafts, 🌰 chestnut games, 🔎 a photo treasure hunt around the property, 🔥 a campfire with marshmallows and hot chocolate, delicious meals and lots of time to explore the beautiful Lot.

If we had to plan the perfect day in our corner of the Lot, it might look a little something like this… 🌿

A slow breakfast, a local market, a long lunch, somewhere beautiful to explore and just enough time for an ice cream stop along the way.

Then back to Petit Mas de Rêve for a swim, a glass of wine and a slow evening as the sun goes down.
Of course, the beauty of the Lot is that you can change this day completely depending on what you feel like doing.

And if you're staying with us, we're always happy to share our favourite places, walks and little discoveries with you. 🤍

There is something special about the Lot after summer. 🍂

The days become a little quieter, the light gets softer and the countryside slowly changes colour.
It's the perfect time for long walks, exploring little villages, discovering local markets and simply enjoying the region without the summer crowds.

And one of the things we love most? September and October can still bring some wonderfully sunny days. ☀️
If you're someone who prefers a slower pace and a little more space to explore, this might just be your season.

We're open throughout the autumn months.

While we're still enjoying the last weeks of summer, we've already started dreaming about cosy winter days at Petit Mas de Rêve.

A Christmas filled with good food, warm evenings, time together and a little French countryside magic. ✨

Running a chambre d'hôtes is probably not quite what we imagined when we first started. 😂

There are beautiful breakfasts, long dinners, lovely conversations and families who arrive as guests and sometimes leave feeling like friends.

But there's also laundry. A lot of laundry. 😅

There are invoices, grocery lists, pool maintenance, gardens that never stop growing and approximately 847 little things that need doing every day.

Would we change it?
Not for a second. 🤍

Four years ago, Petit Mas de Rêve existed only on paper.

We left Belgium with a dream, a long list of renovations and no idea what the years ahead would bring.

Today, this old farmhouse has become a place where families meet, children make new friends and breakfast tables fill with stories from all over the world.

Running a chambre d'hôtes isn't always easy.

There are long days, unexpected challenges and plenty of behind-the-scenes work.

But every goodbye hug, every returning family and every child asking, *"Can we stay one more day?"* reminds us why we started.

We wanted to welcome all of the new people!

Why only two accommodations?

It's a question we hear quite often.

The answer is actually very simple: because that's exactly how we imagined Petit Mas de Rêve from the very beginning.
We never dreamed of creating a large holiday park or a place where guests come and go without really getting to know each other.

Instead, we wanted to create a place where there's time.

Time for a chat over breakfast.

Time to help children organise a game together.

Time to share our favourite market or walking route.

Time to prepare every meal with care.

Time to celebrate birthdays, welcome returning families and remember the little things that make every stay unique.

For us, hospitality has never been about welcoming as many guests as possible.
It's about making every family feel at home.
And that's exactly why Petit Mas de Rêve will always remain small by choice. 🤍
