Decorated in a traditional Alpine style, our spacious chalet accommodates up to 20 guests in eight bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and views of the mountains. We are a fully-catered chalet, offering gourmet cuisine served in our restaurant and bar. We also offer self-catering in our fully-equipped kitchen, and our guests can enjoy meals seated at our rustic, oak dining table. Guests can relax
after a day skiing on our sunny, south-facing terrace with mountain views, or relaxing in our spacious living room in front of a roaring log fire, with free Wi-Fi access and a flat-screen TV. A ski lift is only a minute from our front door and connects to 46 lifts and 150km of fabulous groomed, wide, uncrowded piste. The piste is easy, with one section for beginners. Ski instructors are conveniently available from the ski office, which is located next to the ski lift. The mountain is great for all abilities from beginners to powder hounds, and Valmorel is most famous for its challenging untouched, off piste, first tracks all day. Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and nordic skiing are the main activities for winter. In both summer and winter there are loads of other activities including tandem paragliding from the top of the mountain, climbing, or walking on the many tracks all over the mountains and down into the valleys. For those in pursuit of more ‘extreme’ adventures, you can try mountain boarding or take to the mountain bike trails that are cut into the mountainside. You can also head to the valley for canyoning or kayaking on the rapids. In Summer, Valmorel is cyclist heaven with fantastic roads up and down the mountains. We are the perfect location for watching the Tour de France mountain climbs, as the famous Col de Madelaine stage of the Tour de France travels through our ski fields.
