20 years and still feels like yesterday…

We were 19 years old on September 11th, 2001 - it was another hot day and we were headed to work when we heard the news. When we arrived at the job site, we all just stood still and listened to the radio in disbelief and in shock. We were just kids then, we didn’t know what to think or what to do in the moment. Our boss said “let’s get what we can get done today and then go home and be with your families.”

Nobody will forget what they were doing that day the moment the Twin Towers fell…

A year later we moved to the city and have called New York home ever since.
