I've had quite a break from social media, mostly becasue we've been working hard on our food business (which is going really well). Anyway my new years resolution was to get back to it, so here goes.
Being awol from social media doesn't mean I've neglected the bike, especially exploring the incredible gravel riding we have on our doorstep. Last year we welcomed some great riders and we'll be doing it all again this year from March. We'll be doing road or gravel, guided or self guided.
So to kick things off, here are some pics of a very early season gravel holiday from last year (although everyone except me was on a mountain bike). It wasn't especially warm but the trails were dry, fast and completely deserted :-)

I don't think there will be any cycling this time, but it's still good to be on TV....

We're on TV again!! For those with access to UK TV we're going to be on A New Life in the Sun tomorrow (8th March) at 4pm (5pm French time) on Channel 4. Tune in to watch us go foraging 🙂

My other half, .indulgent.vegan was doing a cookery class today so I was banished from the house. Obviously I went out on my bike in the bitter cold and the fog, but eventually I climbed above it in the Gresigne Forest. This was the view from my lunch stop, with the church of the hilltop bastide town of Puycelci poking up through the cloud inversion, and the Pyrenees just visible on the horizon 😍

I was out unusually early this morning, which is something I should do more often it seems. This was the view from the Aveyron bridge in the village.
