Eco-printing and dyeing workshop, Sweet Nothings 7-13 July 2024.
Here are some examples of our dye bath fabrics. Madder, logwood, onion, avocado and nettle. The colour changes are not just because of the plant. It is very much fibre dependent... animal fibres often take on more colour and therefore give more vivid colours. As the dye bath is used more, it becomes exhausted and gives up less molecules of colour making the colour shades lighter. Next year our eco printing workshops will be in July and September. I am running some wonderful day long classes at Sweet Nothings 16480 Saint Vallier.

Monday 8thJuly - Eco printing using leaves and Flowers.
Tuesday 9th July - Combining Eco prints and natural dyes.
Thursday 11th July - Indigo Fun! Techniques for dyeing using the indigo vat

All classes run from 9.30 to 4pm, include all materials, a healthy lunch using local produce, and drinks throughout the day.

Cost €95 per day.

09/07/2024 10h-16h Combining dye Baths and leaf prints.
11/07/2024 10h-16h Indigo fun! Introducing the indigo vat and resist methods.

All workshops are €95 per day*.

Workshops include all resources, a healthy buffet lunch (including vegetarian and vegan options) and drinks.
