Château Ribagnac We are a chambres d'hôtes: we welcome families & couples and provide a countryside retreat atmosphe

Chateau Ribagnac is more than a romantic castle that has been lovingly converted into chambres d’hôtes; it is a breathtaking country retreat. Built in around 1560, the château has accumulated character and style over the ages. It perfectly combines the charm and atmosphere of the old with the comfort and convenience of the modern. The Chateau is situated in its own grounds with stunning views across the valley.

Colette has just been interviewed by France 3 Television about running a chambres d'hôtes and using different websites to reach new clients, in particular airbnb, which is a great site. The journalist interviewed some of our guests over breakfast and filmed from the Honeymoon Suite balcony, so there should be some great shots. The feature is running this evening.

Our cottages have just been accepted for the new Sawdays Guide for Self Catering. We're really pleased and looking forward to welcoming lots of Sawday's guests! The cottages sleep 4-6 people. We're still on hand to give you advice on things to do and places to visit and book restaurants too. When you stay in our cottages you can still book dinner in the Château or request a "dinner-in-the-oven" which we prepare and then you enjoy at your leisure in your cosy cottage or perhaps soaking up a lovely Sunset. They are great value and in September & October we have a special offer of a week for only 500 euros!

Introducing Château Ribagnac's latest employees - Spike and Rocket!
The brothers are about 8 weeks old (we don't know exactly) and we adopted them from our vet who needed to home them after treating their abandoned mother. They are almost identical, but Spike has a tiny white blaze (or bow tie) and is a bit bigger than his brother. Rocket is, well, fast and very curious. They are both climbers and have already been up the chimney. We're pleased to say they're both friendly and like nothing better han a snooze on a willing lap.
We miss Sparkle very much, but she would approve of the brothers.
