Verbier is usually celebrated for its sun-soaked views across the beach, the estuary, and right over to Borth and Ynyslas beyond — with the vast expanse of ocean stretching endlessly ahead.
But this week has been something truly special. ❄️
For the first time since I have owned Verbier, the village has been blanketed in real snow, and I have to admit… I’m a little bit in love. The last few days have been utterly spectacular down here.

And suddenly, Verbier really does look like what it’s named after. Designed and built in the style of an alpine ski chalet in Verbier, Switzerland, it feels perfectly at home under a dusting of snow.

With those breathtaking views enjoyed alongside the warmth of the woodburner, it’s clear that winter stays are every bit as magical as summer ones. ✨🔥

This is a must for any one staying with us. Brilliant railway for kids and adults and you can stop off along the way and catch when it comes back through.
