Have you visited the stunning Llanthony Priory?

Deep in the Black Mountains north of Abergavenny, it's a haven of peace that can feel a million miles from anywhere. The priory was one of the great medieval buildings of Wales, built between the 12th and 14th centuries. It's ruins still stand today in the heart of the Vale of Ewyas, a beautiful place to relax and reflect.

Best of all, there is a hotel and pub on site (Llanthony Priory)! So you can enjoy some great food and drink, or even stay the night. It's one of the best places in Wales for stargazing, a real treat.

The road was recently closed, but is thankfully back open now, and is a roughly 20 minute drive from Abergavenny.
