Another good reason to stay at Puffling Cottage. The Little Shore in Amble (only a 5 minute walk from the cottage) has just been awarded bathing site status by the government. Fancy a dip anyone?!

The government has announced Amble Little Shore as one of 13 new bathing sites across the country.

At the end of a great day up at I popped back to East Chevington. Didn’t get a photo of it but got a fly-by from a Barn Owl & the pair of Marsh Harriers. Did get a shot or twenty of this Grasshopper Warbler catching the dying rays of sun. Also a Shoveler pair & Little Egret. No photos but lots of Whitethroats, Partridges, Reed Warblers, Sand Martins, plus a few Swifts, Cetti’s Warblers, Willow Warblers, Meadow Pipits & so much more…
