Looking for something fabulous, free and fun for all the family to do this Saturday ...
well look no further than a visit to Settle Signal Box.
You can be trained up as a signalman and have a go at setting the signals and pulling the levers and ringing the bells. It's really interesting to learn all about how it works and actually get to try it out for yourself. I went and had a go last weekend and I was so good I was given my own certificate - super proud!!
The box is open on Saturdays between 10am and 4pm, they are a lovely friendly team who run it and take you through the demonstration and it was toasty warm and cosy inside with a lovely wood burning stove.
