Introduction to wild food today. Plenty of wood sorrel ( Oxalis acetosella). Very refreshing with an apple peel taste. Also foraged plenty wild berries on our walk.

And this folks is what it’s all about. Quality time spent in the woods. My boys enjoying a hot chocolate and a cowboy coffee for me. The boys collected their own birch bark tinder and kindling for the twig stove. Identified a good area to stop near a water source and helped to get the fire going. Fantastic learning experience for them in local Angus woodland. 😊πŸ”₯πŸ•πŸͺ“.

Just received my new special edition TBS Boar. Stabilised Spalted Beech -DC4 with matching fire steel and multi carry sheath from . Absolutely over the moon with it and can’t wait to try it out this weekend. It really is a beautiful piece of kit. Great service and very quick delivery.
