It is also an ideal central base for exploring the surrounding islands of North Uist, Berneray, South Uist and Eriskay which also offer an abundance of local history and bird life including the illusive corncrake and many other species of birds such as golden eagles, sea eagles and hen harriers. The open plan living space is larger than most thatched cottages and is comfortably furnished to a high standard. It offers a solid fuel stove, TV and Broadband. Kitchen Area
Adjoining the living room the kitchen is fitted with a fan assisted oven and hob, washer, microwave oven as well as all the necessary crockery and utensils required. A drop-leaf table allows increased floor space when not in use. Also provided are: Iron and board, clothes airer, vacuum cleaner etc

The bedroom is tastefully decorated and is fitted with traditional pine furniture including a double bed, bedside tables and a tall boy wardrobe. Bathroom
