A very special moment at The Five Corners Guest Inn...

As we head into the final week of renovations before opening on Friday 12th June, we had the pleasure of welcoming back Max & Heather McConnell, the former owners of The Five Corners, for a look around the place they knew so well.

Even more special, they popped in on their 47th wedding anniversary ❤️.

This first part of their vlog is full of memories, stories and reflections on the good old days, while giving a little glimpse of how the new Five Corners is taking shape.

There’s something really meaningful about honouring the history of the building while getting ready to open the next chapter.

The countdown is officially on… Friday 12th June 👀

Breakfast is coming to The Five Corners Guest Inn.

As we get ready to reopen next weekend, we’re excited to share that breakfast will be served from our new Brunch Menu.

From cooked fry options and breakfast baps to pancakes, porridge, rosti dishes, hot drinks and milkshakes, there’ll be plenty to enjoy in the mornings.

Breakfast / Brunch Times
Monday – Saturday: 9am – 1pm
Sunday: 9am – 12pm

For now, bookings are being taken by email while we get our Dish Cult booking system ready. We’ll update our socials as soon as online booking is live.

As we prepare to reopen next weekend, we’re now taking bookings for Sunday Dinners at The Five Corners Guest Inn.

Join us every Sunday from 12pm – 7.30pm for a warm, traditional Sunday dinner with starters, mains, roasts and desserts available.

Sunday Menu Pricing:
🍽️ 2 Courses £26.50
🍽️ 3 Courses £31.50

We’re delighted to welcome you back through the doors of The Five Corners Guest Inn.

Join us from Friday 12th June as we officially reopen our bar, restaurant and guest inn at 249 Rashee Road, Ballyclare.

Whether you’re calling in for a drink, joining us for breakfast, booking a table in the restaurant, or planning a stay, we’re excited to welcome familiar faces and new guests to the new Five Corners.

Five Corners Site Update - The Swimming Pool: Daniel’s New Idea

This time, Daniel from CM Fit-Out gives us a look at one of the larger jobs happening behind the scenes.

A big hole has been dug, the work is well underway… and apparently we’re now just waiting on the diving board arriving.

More refurbishment updates coming soon as the brand-new Five Corners continues to take shape.

👨‍🍳 EPISODE 4 — From a small kitchen to something special...

In this episode, Head Chef Paddy Erwin reflects on where it all started and just how much The Five Corners is changing.

The original kitchen may have been small, but it produced everything that left the pass. Fast forward to today, and that same space will become a dedicated bakery and prep area as part of a much larger, state-of-the-art kitchen development.

From working busy services with a team of three to planning for six or seven chefs, the scale of this project is something Paddy describes as a real "wow moment".

As he says himself: "This is it, there's no going back — we're in it now." 🔥

The transformation by CM Fit-Out continues, and we're another step closer to reopening.

Paddy Erwin is back with another behind-the-scenes look inside the brand new Five Corners kitchen as the transformation continues.

In this episode, Paddy talks about the worst shift in the Five Corners when the oven packed in on a very very busy Mother's Day.

You can really start to see the scale of the renovation now thanks to the ongoing work from CM Fit-Out 👏
