In a tranquil and peaceful location just 1 mile from the centre of Bamburgh yet still in view of the fabulous scenery of the castle and coastline, Cheviot House sleeps up to 6 and welcomes up to 1 dog. With an open plan living and kitchen area, the cottage is spacious for a family to spread out and not feel crowded. The gardens are large and wrap around the property giving views of both the Cheviots and the castle and coastline in the opposite direction. The whole cottage is also all on one level, perfect for our less mobile guests. Accommodation
Entrance
The front entrance leads to a spacious and bright hallway, which in turn leads to the open plan kitchen and lounge, dining room and utility room. Kitchen and Lounge
The kitchen is spacious and luxurious, with views out to the castle from one of the windows. The kitchen is open plan to the lounge with a wall-mounted fire and large, glass french doors leading out to the front garden. Laundry Room
The laundry room can be accessed from outside as well as from the kitchen, which is perfect for keeping muddy boots and wet dogs! The laundry room houses a washer/dryer, a sink and cupboard storage, as well as a cloakroom. Dining Room
A beautiful room, beautifully furnished, with windows overlooking the patio garden. Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is at the furthest point of the house. There is a super king size bed (6ft) in the room with an en suite and plenty of storage. Luxury bed linen and fluffy towels provided. Second Bedroom – Double Room

Third Bedroom – Twin Room

The gardens at Cheviot House are large and very well maintained. There is the back garden with a patio and table and chairs, and the front garden with views out to The Cheviots and the Farne Islands. The gardens are fenced so are enclosed for medium sized dogs but perhaps not for small dogs. Parking
There is private off-road parking for up to 4 cars in a parking area adjacent to the private garage to the front of Cheviot House (the garage itself is not available). Features

Wi-fi is provided in the cottage, however it cannot be guaranteed as it is provided by a third party, so it may go down at times or the speed not be as fast as you may be used to at home, which is outside of the cottage owner’s control. If wi-fi is essential for you – to keep in touch with work for instance – then we recommend that you bring your own mobile dongle as a backup in case of any connection issues, or be prepared to use local wi-fi hotspots such as pubs, cafe’s etc.
