One of my favourite places to visit locally has to be Blickling Estate, just 9 minutes from escape2norfolk. This beautiful National Trust property is one of Norfolk’s real gems, but if you’re looking for a quieter way to enjoy the estate, I’d recommend taking a stroll around Blickling Lake. There are plenty of scenic spots along the water’s edge where you can stop for a picnic, enjoy your lunch and watch the ducks glide across the lake.
